Went to Israel for a few years to do a post-doc in biomedical engineering at the Technion -Israel Technical University. Ended up staying in Israel for a job at a kick-ass start up, here in Start-up Nation. Now living in Tel Aviv. Check out my adventures in moving, culture shock, learning Hebrew, travel and whatever else comes to mind while I'm trying to make my way in a totally new place!

A Gorgeous Day!
It is a gorgeous day today. I just finished up all my work for the conference at the Dead Sea. (We leave tomorrow!) Now I'm enjoying the sunshine at a cafe with my book. Then onto packing. Thankfully it is sunny so all of my laundry is outside drying nicely... The lack of a dryer requires one to plan what they are bringing on a trip a week before they go so that all the clothes will be dry in time to be packed. However when the sun is out, not nearly as much planning is required. I love spring in Israel so far!!! Although it feels like summer at home...
